First of all, a huge thank you to everyone that made it to one of the 36 screenings around the UK and Ireland of An Alternative Reality: The Football Manager Documentary and stayed to watch the new features video and live Q&A. Also, thanks to the people in the 47 countries around the world that tuned in to watch on TV.

Thousands of you also logged on to Twitch to see the features video and the Q&A streamed live. Thank you to everyone that submitted a question and congratulations to those of you that will be added to FM15 as a ‘new-gen’!

MEET THE SQUAD INTERVIEW

We’re back with our latest "Meet the Squad" interview. Meet David, who works as a Match Engine programmer…

Name: David Crammond
Role: Animation / Physics / Match Engine Programmer
Team supported: Watford FC

1. What is your role at Sports Interactive and what does it involve day-to-day?
I work on the 3d animation system, the ball physics and provide match engine support. Every day is quite varied depending on what we are pushing towards that week, it is very enjoyable to see the match evolve a little bit more every day.

2. What’s the best thing about working at Sports Interactive?
The team, we have a brilliant bunch of guys here who are all passionate about all things football. That sprit and team work make it the most rewarding and enjoyable place I have worked.

3. If you could give one piece of advice to someone looking to work in a role similar to yours, what would it be?
Nothing substitutes hard work and dedication to the cause. Also drinking copious amounts of tea helps.

4. What are your interests and past times outside of work?
I love most sports and follow the mighty Watford (Best team in west Hertfordshire, FACT!). Also as I live in the US that allows me to follow teams like the San Diego Chargers, Kings, Galaxy and the Clippers. I like the great outdoors such as hiking and camping. Wine tasting (as wine is awesome) and being generally outgoing.

5. What’s the best game tip you can give to someone to do better on Football Manager?
Always have a ball winning midfielder…trust me I know!
